Although he’s associated with Massachusetts, what state was Ben Affleck actually born in?
Affleck was born in Berkeley, California, in 1972. However, he grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which is part of his long association with Boston that would continue through several of his films. To date, he hasn’t won an Oscar for acting, though he did share one as a co-writer for “Good Will Hunting” and another for the Best Picture winner “Argo.” His full birth name is Benjamin G̩za Affleck-Boldt, and he made his official acting debut in a Burger King commercial when he was 12. Here’s hoping that makes it into his Oscar montage one day… Source: IMDB
