Brenda Buttner (born May 22, 1961 in San Francisco, California – died February 20, 2017) was a senior business correspondent and host of Bulls & Bears on Fox News Channel. She also frequently contributed to Your World with Neil Cavuto.

Brenda Buttner, host of Fox News’ Bulls & Bears, has passed away at 55. Her longtime colleague Neil Cavuto reported on the tragic news this afternoon with a moving, emotional tribute to his friend and colleague.

Buttner had been battling cancer for a while and had received lots of well-wishes from fans on Twitter.

Buttner is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca and Rachel Adkins.

She and her ex-husband, Tom Adkins, were married from 2005 to 2010, when the divorced. Adkins is a political pundit who has also appeared on Fox News.

Buttner was a resident of Ridgewood, New Jersey.
