In what year did MTV’s ”Total Request Live” come to an end?
In 1998, MTV’s ”Total Request Live,” also known as TRL, first premiered. It soon became the station’s flagship show. Broadcasting live five days a week, Carson Daly hosted this program, which ranked the latest and hottest music videos based on votes cast by the pop-culture-lovin’ viewers. Sadly, after 10 years, TRL came to an end on Nov. 16, 2008. The show signed off with a bang, inviting many of the decade’s most famous music celebrities with a celebratory three-hour finale.
