When was the Professional Bowlers Association founded?
1958
While bowling alleys may be older, the Professional Bowlers Association dates back to 1958. There were originally 33 founding members, but Eddie Elias is considered the main founder. Since then, the PBA has seen tournaments, tours and professional sponsorships as the sport has grown, and the organization is set to introduce a 14-tournament tour in 2017. Elias passed away in 1998, but there are competitions all over the country now, so the dream lives on. Or should we say, rolls on? Source: PBA
