Solution

Here’s my guess. You’ve overloaded the game with battle net garbage. I don’t want to load my game from the battlenet app. It takes up memory that I don’t want it to use. Everything is now tied into the app and the website. Your authentication server is SEVERELY overloaded.

 

However, if a previous installation was unsuccessful and did not close properly, you can end the Windows Installer Process manually:
1. Open Task Manager and navigate to the “Processes” tab
2. Select “Show processes from all users” if it is not already.
3. Locate and end any “MSIExec.exe” entries you see.

After these steps, attempt the installation once more.

for me once I stopped the Hola update process – Windows update ran again and the launcher patched the system and updated the game…yay….hope this helps
