Philosopher Rene Descartes highlighted the Latin phrase in his “Discourse on Method.” He carries the phrase though six meditations, where he embarks on a journey to prove he exists.
If that philosophical feat wasn’t mind-blowing enough, he also embarks on a logical thread to determine the existence of a god-like being.
