When did Fenway Park host its first baseball game?
Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox, has been a capsule for entertainment for decades. It all started April 9, 1912, when the park hosted its first game between the Red Sox and Harvard College. Exactly 11 days later, the Red Sox played their first official game against the New York Highlanders. While the home team was on the road during this season, Fenway welcomed amateur baseball teams with open arms. Later that year, the park even hosted the National High School Football Championship game. Source: Boston Red Sox
