Hailing from Italy’s Piedmont region, Emma Morano was born Nov. 29, 1899. Before her her death in April 2017, she was the last known person to be born in 1800s who was still alive.
So what was her secret to living 117 years, and as a result, experiencing the Great Depression, two world wars, the space race, iPhones, and self-driving cars?
