Rubik’s Cube, the world’s best-selling toy of all time, bears its young inventor’s name. Erno Rubik, a professor of architecture in Budapest, Hungary, created the cube that still captures the imagination of puzzle lovers around the world. It took Rubik well over a month to find a solution to his own puzzle. Fast forward to 2017, and 15-year-old Patrick Ponce broke the previous record by solving the Cube in a staggering 4.69 seconds.
