The world is home to about 200 species of owls. Most of these feathery creatures are solitary dwellers, preferring to live alone. Nocturnal creatures, owls come out at night to hunt small animals, other birds and insects. On the rare occasion when a bunch of owls get together, the group is officially known as a parliament.
