What are Lay’s potato chips known as in the U.K.?

Crisp-o’s

Walker’s

Blay’s

Scotty’s

Frito-Lay is a big international corporation, and you can find their potato chips in all sorts of places. But don’t look for “Lay’s” in the United Kingdom, because you won’t find them — in the U.K., the classic brand name “Walker’s” is still found in grocery stores. Lay’s bought Walker’s years ago, but the company realized that loyal Walker’s fans would not appreciate the Lay’s brand — so they simply used Walker’s name on the Lay’s chips.

Potato chip aficionados don’t always agree on whether Lay’s now taste like Walker’s or vice-versa, but the chips on both sides of the pond are now pretty much indistinguishable, despite the two different names on the bags.

Answer: The correct answer is Walker’s
